Siva Umapathy

Siva Umapathy is a distinguished academic with extensive experience in the field of Physical Chemistry. Since December 1990, Siva Umapathy has served as a Professor at the Indian Institute of Science, where a significant contribution to research and education has been made. Prior to this role, Siva Umapathy was the Director of IISER Bhopal from September 2018 to August 2023. Siva Umapathy earned a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Physical Chemistry from the University of Otago in Dunedin, New Zealand, between 1983 and 1986.
