Prem Naik

Prem Naik has extensive work experience in the field of research and development in the aerospace industry. prem started their career as the Head of a Research Group at the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur, where they collaborated with other institutions to design UAVs for Mars exploration. prem successfully led a team of 15 members and implemented progress reports for effective communication and decision-making.

In addition, they served as a Mentor at the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur, guiding first-year students and helping them pursue their interests. prem organized meetups and interactions to address their concerns.

Prem also worked as a Guide at EXTRATERRESTRIAL FLIGHT, providing guidance in research projects. At TEKKR, they designed a Vertical Takeoff and Landing Electric Plane, analyzing various fuselage designs using SOLIDWORKS and Ansys Fluent.

Furthermore, Prem contributed to the design of an Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) for a Pulse engine at the National Aerospace Laboratories, Bangalore. prem tested different fuels and designed UAVs with reduced drag and efficient fuel systems.

Prior to these roles, Prem was part of the Boeing India Mentorship Programme and engaged in a summer internship at AWaDH Internship Carnival. prem also had experience as a Student in the National Cadet Corps and served as a Kshitij Campus Affiliate at the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur.
