Lakshmi Manickavasagam

Lakshmi Manickavasagam is a Research Scholar at the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, where the focus is on the synthesis and analysis of NASICON solid electrolytes for Na-metal-based batteries, bifunctional electrocatalysts, lithium recycling from spent batteries, and development of low cobalt cathode materials for lithium-ion batteries. Previously, as a Teaching Assistant, responsibilities included conducting tutorials and grading for various chemical engineering courses. Prior experience includes work as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the CSIR-Central ElectroChemical Research Institute, where investigations involved electrocatalysts for hydrogen and oxygen evolution reactions and the synthesis of nanoparticles for dye degradation and power generation. Lakshmi holds a Bachelor of Technology in Chemical and Electrochemical Engineering from CECRI and is pursuing a PhD in Chemical Engineering at IIT Madras.
