Currently serving as a Visiting Fellow at the Centre For Land Warfare Studies, a Professor of Practice at the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, and a member of the Chennai Centre for China Studies, Maj Gen Narayanan has previously held significant positions such as Executive Director at the Ministry of Defence and Head of the Centre for Strategic Studies and Simulation at the United Service Institution of India. Renowned for expertise in optimizing resource and manpower, strategic financial analysis, and policy formulation, Maj Gen Narayanan has been recognized with the Ati Vishishta Seva Medal for outstanding contributions in military operations and strategic planning.
