Prashant Govande

Prashant Govande is a dedicated professional currently serving as a Project Scientist at the Indian National Centre for Ocean Information Services (INCOIS) since December 2022. In this role, Prashant contributes to providing ocean data, information, and advisory services to various stakeholders through enhanced ocean observations and research in information management and ocean modeling, under the Ministry of Earth Science, Government of India. Prior to this position, Prashant gained valuable experience as a Research and Development Intern at the Energy Swaraj Foundation and Maithri Aquatech, and as a Mitacs Globalink Research Intern at York University. Early career involvement includes serving as an Internshala Student Partner. Prashant holds a Bachelor of Technology in Production Engineering from Shri Guru Gobind Singhji Institute of Engineering and Technology, completed in June 2022.
