Sakshi Awasthi

Sakshi Awasthi is an experienced professional in the field of art and cultural heritage, currently serving as a Programme Associate at the Indian National Trust for Art and Cultural Heritage (INTACH) since October 2022. Responsibilities include researching and documenting the INTACH Directory of Building Crafts of India, curating museum designs, and facilitating craft-based initiatives across INTACH Chapters. Previously, Sakshi held roles at the Indira Gandhi National Centre for the Arts as a Project Assistant and Collection Management Intern, where efforts focused on creating national artist directories and documenting cultural heritage. Other notable experiences include internships at the National Handicrafts and Handloom Museum, Harvard Art Museum, and the Museum of Goa, contributing to exhibitions and conservation projects. Sakshi holds a Master's in Fine Arts with a specialization in Museology from The Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda and a Bachelor's in Fine Arts from Amity University.
