Maura A. Stokes

Maura A. Stokes has extensive experience in public service and photography. Currently serving as the Commissioner Assistant to Deryl Loar for District 4 at the Indian River County Board of County Commissioners since December 2020, Maura also operates SimplyMaura Photography as the owner and photographer since November 2000. Previous roles include Deputy City Clerk for the City of Fort Pierce from May 2019 to December 2020, Department Secretary for the Fairfield Health Department from January 2010 to August 2017, and serving in various capacities, including certified Connecticut Municipal Tax Collector, for the Town of Fairfield from January 2005 to August 2017. Maura's education includes attendance at Andrew Warde High School and training from the Perfect Picture School of Photography, as well as FEMA courses.
