Schumetta McLendon

Schumetta McLendon is an accomplished design professional and community advocate, serving as the Founder and Principal of Schumetta, Inc., a design firm with locations in Malibu and South Florida since July 2014. Currently, Schumetta holds the position of President at Giorgetti Athletics, a nonprofit organization focused on empowering youth and communities through sports. Additionally, Schumetta is a Planner for Current Development at the Indian River County Board of County Commissioners and serves as a Board Member for the Swiss American Chamber of Commerce - Florida Chapter. Previously, Schumetta contributed as a Board Member and Design & Architecture Development Director for the Swiss American Chamber of Commerce Southern California and held leadership roles with the Association for Women in Architecture and Design and the AIA Los Angeles Women in Architecture Committee, dedicated to promoting gender equity in architecture.
