Denzil Welsh

Denzil Welsh has extensive experience in the power industry, currently serving as a Regulatory Analysis & Case Manager at Indiana Michigan Power since March 2021. Prior to this role, Denzil Welsh worked at American Electric Power for over three decades in various capacities, including Regulatory Consultant, Principal Fuel Buyer, Senior Coordinator, Coordinator I, Plant Engineer, and Project Engineer. Responsibilities have ranged from managing coal procurement and emissions controls to overseeing coal handling systems and electrical projects. Denzil Welsh holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Ohio University, earned between 1987 and 1992.
