Susan Elrod

Susan Elrod is the current Chancellor of Indiana University South Bend. Susan has previously held positions at the University of Wisconsin - Whitewater, California State University, Chico, and California State University, Fresno. Prior to their work in academia, Elrod was the Executive Director of Project Kaleidoscope. Susan began their career as a Postdoctoral Fellow at Novozymes and then worked as a Research Associate at UC Davis Medical Center.

Susan Elrod earned their Ph.D. in Genetics from the University of California, Davis and their B.S. in Biology from California State University, Chico.

They are on a team with Susan Sciame-Giesecke - IU Kokomo Chancellor, Ken Iwama - IU Northwest Chancellor. Susan Elrod reports to Andrew R. Klein, Interim Chancellor & EVP.
