Mason King

Mason King has extensive experience in journalism and media production, currently serving as News Editor, Digital Media Manager, and Producer at the Indianapolis Business Journal since September 2009, where Mason has hosted and produced over 310 episodes of the IBJ Podcast, achieving over 500,000 downloads, and authors the award-winning Eight@8 daily enewsletter. Previous roles include Associate Editor at Angie's List, where consumer-focused features were developed for a large readership, Managing Editor at Billiards Digest, overseeing editorial content and redesign initiatives, and Executive Director of the United States Billiard Media Association, establishing the first trade group for cue-sports media. Earlier career highlights include reporting for The Indianapolis Star and Lawrence Daily Journal-World, with a strong foundation in arts and entertainment journalism and municipal government coverage. Mason holds a B.A. in English from Columbia University and an MFA in Theatre Performance from Roosevelt University.
