Hervé Brelay

Hervé Brelay has extensive experience in software engineering, particularly in the field of image processing for automotive viewing and sensing cameras. Hervé is currently the VP of Software Engineering - Vision BU at indie Semiconductor, where they oversee software development in this area. Prior to this, they worked at GEO Semiconductor, Inc. as the Vice President of Software Engineering, leading the company's software organization and delivering innovative image processing solutions for automotive cameras. Hervé also played a role in shaping the company's compliance with automotive processes and balancing efficiency and agility. Before GEO Semiconductor, they held prominent positions at Zenverge, Digital Keystone, Magnum Semiconductor, LSI Corporation, C-Cube Microsystems, and Matra Communication, where they gained experience in various engineering and management roles related to codec software, firmware development, and MPEG encoding.

Hervé Brelay attended Télécom Paris from 1988 to 1991, where they obtained a degree in Ingénieur. Their field of study was Images & Sons. In addition, they received a certification as an UL certified automotive CFSP from UL Solutions in October 2019.
