Jörg Ziegler

Jörg Ziegler has held various roles in software engineering, management, and project management throughout their career. Jörg is currently the System and Software Engineering Director at indie Semiconductor since April 2022. Prior to this, they served as the Head of Engineering at KIWI.KI GmbH from March 2021 to March 2022. From 2017 to 2021, Jörg worked at Veoneer, where they held the positions of System Development Manager LiDAR and Department Manager Software LiDAR. Jörg also served as the CTO SW at FOTONIC from July 2015 to November 2017 and as a Project Manager at Optronic from October 2014 to June 2015. Earlier in their career, they worked at Aldebaran Robotics as a Sensor Engineering Manager and Firmware Engineer and at soniKKs GmbH as a Software Developer. Additionally, they served as a Project Manager at Steinberg Media Technologies GmbH and gained project management experience as a Project Management Intern at Harman/Becker Automotive Systems.

Jörg Ziegler received their M.Sc. degree from the University of Liverpool, where they studied between 2005 and 2008. Prior to that, they attended Offenburg University of Applied Sciences from 1996 to 2001, although no specific degree or field of study was mentioned.
