Kara Przybyl McIver

Kara Przybyl McIver has a diverse and extensive work experience. In 2022, they began working as Regional Sales Manager at Indiewalls | Design With Art, a New York-based full-service commercial art consultancy. In 2020, they became the Chair of LOGIC (Ladies Operating for Growth in Construction) at Associated Builders and Contractors of Greater Houston. In 2017, they worked as an Innovation Lead and Outside Sales Consultant at Action Gypsum Supply, L.P. From 2013-2012, they held two roles at Black Optical, first as Digital Strategy and Online Sales Manager, and then as Director of Brand Strategy. In 2012, they worked as an Account Executive of Fine Art Auctions at Heritage Auctions. In 2011, they were an Assistant Publicist at Sunshine Sachs, where they tracked media impressions and determined publicity value for various clients, compiled CisionPoint lists, and planned and orchestrated the Golden Globe InStyle Beauty Lounge Event. Kara also worked as Marketing and Public Relations at Kimbell Art Museum in 2011. In 2009, they were the OU in Arezzo Italian Programs Assistant Coordinator at the University of Oklahoma Education Abroad.

Kara Przybyl McIver received their Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and Mass Communication with a focus on Advertising, Italian Studies, Italian, and Art History from the University of Oklahoma. Kara also studied Art History and Italian at the Università degli Studi di Siena. Kara graduated from Colleyville Heritage High School.
