Laura Gutiérrez

Laura Gutiérrez has a diverse work experience, beginning in 2012 when they worked as a Library Intern at The Metropolitan Museum of Art. In 2013, they were a Member of Youth Council at El Museo del Barrio, and also worked as a Community Assistant, Stagehand, and Resident Assistant at University at Buffalo. In 2014, they were an Executive Intern at Jamali N.Y.C Gallery, and in 2015 they were a Digital Archive Intern at a Private Collection. In 2016, they were an Assistant Student Curator at UB Anderson Gallery, and in 2018 they were a Bookstore and Library Assistant at Neue Galerie New York. Most recently, in 2019, they have been a Project Manager and Office Manager at Indiewalls.

Laura Gutiérrez completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Art History, Criticism and Conservation from the University at Buffalo between 2013 and 2017. Laura also completed a Fall Course in An Introduction to the Examination and Conservation of Works of Art from the NYU School of Professional Studies in 2017. In 2018 and 2019, they took courses in German Language and Literature at Deutches Haus at NYU. During their time at the University at Buffalo, they also completed a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Chemistry.
