Richard Cassady

Richard Cassady has worked in the software industry for over 25 years. From 1991 to 2004, they were a Programmer/Analyst at Micro Data Base Systems, Inc. and a Software QA Engineer at Mailcode, Inc. from 2004 to 2006. From 2006 to 2015, they were a Quality System Manager and Quality Analyst at Indigo BioAutomation. Since 2015, they have been an Independent Consultant at Agate Publishing, Inc., where they consult as a subject matter expert with a presentation script writer in creating Powerpoint teaching aids based on classroom textbooks. Their main duties are to collaborate with the writer in presenting classroom concepts within the context of real world experiences, as well as ensure technical accuracy of wording and concepts presented in the script.

Richard Cassady obtained their High School Diploma from Saint Francis DeSales High School in 1983. Richard then attended Purdue University and obtained their Bachelor's degree in Computer Science in 1996. In 2008, they were awarded the Certified Tester Foundation Level (CTFL) from the American Software Testing Qualifications Board. In 2022, they obtained the ASQ Certified Quality Auditor from ASQ - World Headquarters.
