Malcolm Young has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of clinical pharmacology and nonclinical sciences. Malcolm currently holds the position of Head of Clinical Pharmacology and Nonclinical Sciences, as well as Medicines Development Leader at Indivior since September 2016. Previously, they worked at PAREXEL as the Senior Director of Quantitative Clinical Development from March 2015 to August 2016. Prior to that, Malcolm had a long career at GlaxoSmithKline, where they held various roles including Senior Director of Clinical Pharmacology, Director of Clinical Pharmacokinetics Europe, Clinical Pharmacology Project Leader, and Senior Clinical Pharmacokineticist. Malcolm also worked at Syntex Pharmaceuticals and Upjohn Ltd as a Clinical Pharmacokineticist.

Malcolm Young earned a BSc in Chemistry and Mathematics from the University of St Andrews in 1983, and later completed a PhD in Pharmacokinetics from The University of Manchester between 1985 and 1988.
