Miriam McCloskey has over 20 years of experience in various roles within the pharmaceutical industry. Miriam started their career at Eli Lilly & Company, where they held positions such as Manufacturing Technical Specialist, Manufacturing & Technical Shift Group Leader, and Stream Leader for an offline improvement team. Miriam then became the Site Health, Safety and Environment Leader, responsible for improving systems and establishing controls in hazard reviews. Later, they served as the Technical Director, Manufacturing, where they provided strategic direction and oversight for manufacturing and packaging operations. Miriam then took on the role of Global Contract Manufacturing Director, leading a virtual manufacturing organization and defining strategy for external manufacturing of drug products. After leaving Eli Lilly, McCloskey joined Perceptive Partnering Ltd as an External Sourcing Partnership Consultant, utilizing their expertise to ensure successful relationships between suppliers and contract givers. Currently, they are working as the Head of Supply Strategic Projects at Indivior, where they oversee strategic projects in the supply chain and previously served as the Global Head of Direct Procurement. McCloskey's vast experience and proven success in managing critical business relationships make their a valuable asset in driving operational excellence and fostering effective collaborations in the pharmaceutical industry.
Miriam McCloskey attended Loughborough University from 1990 to 1994, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Medicinal & Pharmaceutical Chemistry. In 2022, they obtained an ICF, EMCC, and AC Accredited Diploma in Transformational Coaching from the Animas Centre for Coaching.
