G. Andrew Fricker

G. Andrew Fricker is an Associate Professor of Geography at California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo since August 2018, specializing in lower division environmental science, physical geography, and upper division remote sensing and GIS. In addition, G. Andrew Fricker serves as a Technical Advisor for IndoorVu, focusing on indoor mapping using lidar and sensor technology. Previous experience includes postdoctoral research at both the University of California, Riverside and Arizona State University, and lecturer roles at UCLA, where G. Andrew Fricker contributed to studies on forest structure and remote sensing. G. Andrew Fricker holds a PhD in Geography from UCLA, with a research emphasis on forest dynamics and lidar applications, and has a background in remote sensing and environmental consulting with various organizations, including NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory and Airborne 1 Corporation.
