About Indra:
Indra is a developer, manufacturer and seller of Electric Vehicle chargers based in Malvern, Worcestershire, UK. Its current focus is on Home chargers which account for the largest part of the UK Charge Point market. Indra’s long-term focus is on bidirectional chargers which not only charge the vehicle, but which recycle unwanted energy back into the house to power household appliances and also enable the user to sell this energy to the grid.
Indra currently sells the Smart PRO and Smart LUX home EV chargers and delivers services to end customers via the Indra App. Support for installers and customer services teams is made via the DynaMO platform. Indra ensures its customers, and partners receive a professional and timely installation via ‘digital customer journeys’. Additionally integrations have been developed that enable other services to be delivered through third-parties (eg: charge cost reimbursement). The Product Manager (current) will have oversight of all the above products and services with the objective of optimising their competitiveness, compliance and profitability.
Currently Indra is active in the UK and plans to roll its range of products and services to European and other markets over the next 5 years.
About the role:
The successful candidate will work with Indra’s Engineering, Sales and Operations teams to bring to market and launch a series of product improvements. These improvements may be new features /services /functions /quality improvements / accessories. The “take-to-market” plans for all improvements will be led by, and co-ordinated by the product manager
The role involves close liaison with Indra’s sales team, Indra’s network of installers and key partners in the Automotive and Energy markets to ensure the right product is sold to the right customer at the right time at the right price. The Product Manager will also work closely with the Marketing team to ensure product messaging and imagery is accurate and customer focused.
The successful candidate will need to be commercially aware, anticipate competitive and legislative changes and react quickly to changing market conditions.
