Robert Freedman

Robert Freedman is an accomplished editor and journalist with extensive experience in legal and real estate communications. Currently serving as Editor for both Legal Dive and CFO Dive since June 2019 at Industry Dive, Freedman previously held the position of Director of Multimedia Communications at the National Association of Realtors from September 1998 to June 2019, where responsibilities included launching a storytelling team to keep 1.3 million Realtors informed on legislative and industry developments. Additional roles include Senior Editor and Associate Editor for REALTOR® Magazine, focusing on industry best practices and trends, as well as leadership positions at Alexander & Edwards and Warren, Gorham & Lamont, where reporting covered federal legislative matters in affordable housing. Freedman began their career as a teacher and has a Master's degree in Humanities from Marymount University, alongside dual Bachelor's degrees in English and Education from the University of Nevada, Reno.
