Palmira Valentina Messina is a research engineer and project manager at INERIS since November 2020, focusing on air quality modeling and impact assessments linked to various emission scenarios. Notably, Palmira coordinates a project examining the effects of Covid-19 on anthropogenic emissions and contributes to a commercial project analyzing river traffic emissions in Paris. Prior experience includes roles at CEREA Laboratory, where Palmira managed communications while conducting air pollution impact studies for EDF R&D, and at CNRS - LSCE and CNRS - LMD, where Palmira engaged in nitrogen cycle modeling and fire emission modeling, respectively.
