Prof. Dr. med Matthias Keller is a pediatrician and neonatologist. He is Medical Director of the Children's Hospital Third Order Passau and adjunct professor at the Technical University of Munich, Germany. Prof. Keller studied human medicine at Johannes Gutenberg University in Mainz and at Ludwig Maximilians University (LMU) in Munich and qualified as a specialist in pediatric and adolescent medicine. He habilitated in the field of pediatrics and adolescent medicine at the Medical University of Innsbruck, Austria, and acquired the specialization in neonatology. Before working at the children's hospital in Passau, Dr. Keller was in charge of neonatal neuroscience research at the University Hospital in Essen, Germany. Prof. Keller is chairman of the Southern German Society for Child and Adolescent Medicine e.V., spokesman for the scientific advisory board of the federal association "das Frühgeburte Kind e.V." and founding member of the "European Foundation for the Care of Newborn Infants" (EFCNI). He is involved in research projects at the national and international levels, especially in the field of neonatology. In 2021, Prof. Keller co-founded InfanDx AG.
