Maryam Keshtkar Jahromi

Maryam Keshtkar Jahromi is an accomplished infectious diseases physician and clinical trialist with experience in major medical institutions. Currently serving as FIDSA at the Infectious Diseases Society of America and a Medical Officer at the National Institutes of Health, Maryam focuses on developing vaccines against viral agents. As an Assistant Professor at Johns Hopkins University, Maryam provides inpatient consultation and participates in an outpatient infectious diseases clinic, specializing in respiratory infections. Maryam completed a Master of Public Health at Penn State University and holds an MD from Shiraz University of Medical Sciences. Recently, a certificate in Advanced Course of Vaccinology was obtained from the University of Geneva, alongside a certificate in Leadership in Infectious Disease Field from IDSA.
