Rachel Shnekendorf

Rachel Shnekendorf is the Senior Director of Education at the Infectious Diseases Society of America, a position held since September 2006, where oversight includes a varied education portfolio such as continuing medical education and initiatives for fellows-in-training. Prior to this role, Rachel served as Program Manager at the Association of Schools of Public Health from April 2005 to August 2006, focusing on public health preparedness education and cooperative agreement administration. Rachel began a career in public health as the PTC Program Manager at the Medical and Health Research Association of NYC, Inc., managing a CDC-funded training center from October 2000 to June 2004. Educational achievements include a Graduate Certificate in Health Professions Education from the University of Connecticut, a Master of Public Health from Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Maryland.
