Richard Hughes

Richard Hughes (CFO) has significant experience developing and strengthening UK SMEs and internationally quoted groups. He has particular strengths in driving commercial and operational change, scale-up, raising finance, corporate governance, systems integration and cost management within a broad range of business sectors, including marketing services & events, publishing, ecommerce, manufacturing and environmental sustainability.

As CFO – then MD – of a quoted international group, Richard oversaw a 14-fold revenue expansion within 3 years through a combination of organic growth and acquisitions. He later acquired, restructured, then sold his print and digital publishing business before becoming a portfolio CFO and NED to a range of businesses.
