Rui Liu

Rui Liu has a diverse work experience in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industry. They started their career as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute in 2000. They then moved on to various roles at the University of Michigan, including Research Fellow and Research Investigator. In 2013, they joined Enzo Life Sciences, Inc. and worked as a Senior Manufacturing Scientist and later as a Senior R&D Scientist until 2018. They then worked as a Senior Research Scientist at Penrose TherapeuTx from 2018 to 2019. In 2019, they joined Sartorius as a Development Scientist. Currently, they hold a position at InflaRx N.V. as a Senior Project Manager and previously held the roles of Director, Project Management and Senior Director, Drug Discovery & Preclinical R&D.

Rui Liu holds a Ph.D. in Molecular Cell Biology from The University of Tokyo, an M.S. in Biochemistry from Peking Union Medical College, and a B.S. in Microbiology from Wuhan University. Additionally, Rui Liu has obtained a certification in Drug Discovery & Medicinal Chemistry from edX in 2022.
