Bastien Blain

Bastien Blain is an accomplished academic and researcher with extensive experience in teaching and data analysis. Currently serving as an Assistant Professor at Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne since September 2022, Bastien specializes in statistics, probabilities, and advanced behavioral and data science, particularly emphasizing artificial intelligence. Additionally, Bastien holds the positions of Honorary Associate Professor and Associate Researcher at UCL since January 2017, and has been an Associate at INFLUENCE AT WORK (UK) since June 2016, focusing on strategies to address fare evasion in public transportation through data analysis and field studies. Previously, Bastien completed a PhD in Economics and Cognitive Science at INSERM / Paris 1 Panthéon Sorbonne, studying cognitive fatigue and its impact on decision-making. Bastien also gained early experience as a stagiaire at France Strategie after obtaining a Master's degree in Cognitive Science and Economics from Ecole normale supérieure.
