Vasileios Papadopoulos

Vasileios Papadopoulos has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Vasileios started their career as a Technician Trainee at Emirates Airline, where they underwent a month-long heavy base maintenance training. Vasileios then worked as an Event Assistant at F&E Education and as an Engineering Representative for Kingston University, where they represented the university at open days and online events.

Vasileios then joined Info Salons Group as an Onsite Project Manager, where they developed comprehensive project plans and managed high-profile events. Vasileios later became a Senior Onsite Manager, where they built strong client relationships and improved operational delivery through the development of onsite manuals and innovative on-site systems.

Vasileios then transitioned to the role of Operations Manager at Dubai World Trade Centre, where they planned and supervised exhibitions, collaborated with contractors and suppliers, and orchestrated successful events like the Blockchain Summit.

Vasileios returned to Info Salons as the Director of International Business & Digital Solutions, where they spearheaded expansion efforts and mentored teams in managing digital solutions for exhibitions and conferences. Vasileios was later promoted to Managing Director, responsible for leading business development initiatives, formulating budgets, and introducing transformative changes to technology.

Most recently, Vasileios co-founded Life After Me and served as the COO. In this role, they provided best-in-class services, managed product development, and implemented technologies aimed at driving revenue growth. Vasileios successfully led efforts to attain ISO 27001 certification and collaborated with fellow founders to define the scope of work.

Vasileios Papadopoulos holds a BEng (hon) degree in Aerospace Engineering from Kingston University, which they completed from 2009 to 2010. Prior to that, they obtained a Higher National Diploma in Aerospace Engineering from Emirates Aviation College from 2007 to 2009. Vasileios completed their high school education at the International School of Choueifat - SABIS, earning a High School Diploma from 1991 to 2007. In addition to their formal education, Vasileios has also obtained certifications in leadership and safety, including the Krakoff Leadership Institute from the International Association of Exhibitions and Events (IAEE) in 2019, Leadership Excellence from Specialised Management Group in 2018, and IOSH Managing Safely from the International HSE Council in 2017.
