Christopher Herbst serves as the Deputy General Counsel for Products, Privacy & Innovation at Infoblox since September 2023, providing legal support across key areas such as Product, Engineering, IP, Privacy, Marketing, and Procurement. Prior to this role, Christopher held various notable positions in top-tier companies, including Assistant General Counsel & Director of Products and Technology Law at VMware, and SVP, Chief Counsel for Software Business Units & Open Source at Broadcom Inc. Christopher was instrumental in the lead legal role during Broadcom's acquisition of CA Technologies, where Christopher also served as Senior Vice President, Chief Counsel for Products & IP at CA Technologies. With a legal career spanning over two decades, including significant experience at IBM and legal training as a law clerk at the North Carolina Court of Appeals, Christopher holds a Juris Doctor with Honors from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Appalachian State University.
