Alexey Tolstosheev

Alexey Tolstosheev has extensive work experience in the field of data science and machine learning. Alexey currently holds the position of Lead Machine Learning Engineer at Infomediji d.o.o. In their previous role at Snoonu, they served as the Tech Lead of the Data Science Team and Senior Data Scientist. Alexey was responsible for leading the team in developing data science and machine learning solutions, collaborating with product owners and managers, and supporting colleagues in making technical decisions. Prior to that, Alexey worked as a Senior Machine Learning Engineer at ZVUK | Звук, where they made significant contributions to the design and development of a hybrid recommender system. Alexey has also worked as a Senior Data Scientist and Data Scientist at Kaspersky, and as a Data Analyst at Alshaya Group. Throughout their career, they have utilized statistical methods, data analysis, and machine learning to provide valuable insights to business units and contribute to the improvement of key metrics. Additionally, they have developed a search-by-photo computer vision service, demonstrating their expertise in utilizing cutting-edge technologies.

Alexey Tolstosheev attended Baikal State University (Chita branch) from 2009 to 2014, where they obtained a Specialist degree in International Economics. Alexey also received additional certifications in Deep Learning and Machine Learning & Data Mining from the Higher School of Economics in 2018 and 2017, respectively.
