Infopro Digital group is recruiting a Regional Head of Event Operations on a permanent basis to join its Risk Global entity in Singapore.

We are looking for an outstanding leader to join our agile and dynamic APAC team in a full time, hybrid position based in Singapore. This senior role assumes dual responsibilities: (1) manage the operations of a wide spectrum of events, including our industry conferences, learning and development workshops, webinars, and awards programmes, for Asia Risk, Risk.net, FX Markets and Waters Technology; and (2) serve as the Infopro Digital leader for our Singapore location.

The position reports to the Managing Director, Asia.

Regional Head of Event Operations, APAC (80%)

The Role

The Regional Head of Event Operations provides leadership and management of our various events in the APAC region. You will manage a small team to deliver events in a professional manner, within budget and on tight timelines. You will manage multiple events concurrently and demonstrate an ability to multi-task and work well under pressure. Projects will require excellent interpersonal communication skills to work with different departments and locations to achieve your goals.

This role provides excellent exposure in client servicing as you will liaise with sponsors and vendors. You must be passionate about identifying new solutions for better event experiences. Key Responsibilities

-Event Execution

  • Conduct venue and vendor research and solicit quotations

  • Manage individual project P&Ls and keep track of all expenses

  • Map out project timelines and set clear deadlines for relevant stakeholders

  • Liaise with the venue, virtual platforms, and AV vendors on hybrid event logistics

  • Provide technical support prior to the event and on the day

Strategic Client Liaison

  • Develop and execute sponsor onboarding processes to ensure deliverables and timelines are clearly communicated

  • Guidance of sponsors through event processes pre, during and post-events

Strategic Support

  • Research the latest event technology in the market and share new platform alternatives that suit business needs

  • Develop event features and social activities that enhance delegate experience and maximize sponsor ROI

Staff Mentorship

  • Provide coaching and guidance to 2 or more staff in the event operations team

  • Conduct effective delegation and project allocation

  • Direct management of team performance and nurture career growth
