Trudie Giordano, PMP, CSM, MHt has diverse work experience in project management, leadership roles, and consulting. Trudie is currently working as a Project Manager at the San Diego Foundation, overseeing a $22MM education grant and collaborating with multiple partner agencies. Previously, Trudie served as a Volunteer Project Manager at the Information Technology Disaster Resource Center (ITDRC) and as an Executive Director at Peers Envisioning and Engaging in Recovery Services (PEERS).
Trudie also worked as a Senior Consultant at Tathaastu Consulting, where they executed contracts for human-centered design facilitation, change management, and strategic planning sessions. Trudie provided recommendations with a focus on diversity, equity, and inclusion. Additionally, Trudie worked as a Business Services Representative at Contra Costa County and as an Interim Director of Workforce Systems at the College of Alameda, overseeing program design and coordinating services for job seekers and employers.
Earlier in their career, Trudie served as the Program Director at SHELTER, Inc., where they collaborated with community service providers to assist individuals experiencing homelessness and military veterans in regaining stability and self-determination. Trudie also worked as a Consortium Manager at the Contra Costa County Adult Education Consortium, managing annual grant funding and overseeing initiatives in higher education and workforce development.
Trudie's experience includes roles at Dublin Partners in Education, where they served as the Executive Director and assessed workflow and operations, and at the Oregon State Department of Human Services as a Case Manager, Program Administration, providing assistance to clients in overcoming barriers to employment and connecting them with community resources.
Throughout their career, Trudie has demonstrated strong project management skills, stakeholder engagement, process improvement, and a focus on diversity and inclusion. Trudie holds certifications in Project Management (PMP), Scrum (CSM), and Hypnotherapy (MHt).
Trudie Giordano completed their Bachelor of Arts degree with a focus on Russian Studies and Speech Communications at the University of Alaska Fairbanks. Trudie then pursued additional training in Training in Action Collab Facilitation at the Institute for the Study of Knowledge Management in Education (ISKME). In 2020, they obtained a Change Management certification from PROSCI and attended the Fundraising Academy at John F. Kennedy University. Furthermore, they acquired the Certified Scrum Master (CSM) certification from Scrum Alliance, specializing in Agility, Diversity, and Project Management. Trudie also holds additional certifications as a Certified ScrumMaster from Scrum Alliance and as a Project Management Professional (PMP) from PMI - San Francisco Bay Area Chapter.
