Data Engineer

We are seeking someone who loves to work with data, provide meaning to the data by building analysis models, reports and dashboards, help the organization/clients with key business intelligence data points, migrate/transform (ETL) data from different sources, maintain/optimize performance of databases, work in Data & AI Services client projects  and work with the latest technologies in the area especially Azure SQL Database, Azure Data Factory, Analysis Services and related technologies.

Responsibilities

• Design, Develop, Test, Implement, Maintain and Support
  • Data warehouse/analytics solutions including ETL processes, Analysis Models
  • Reports and Dashboards using various Reporting tools.
  • Integrations of data between SaaS services and databases
  • High performing/efficient database procedures and processes to be used by the organization.
• Administer and maintain databases.
  • Manage jobs for backup, re-indexing, database optimization and related tasks.
  • Identify Data quality issues and propose fixes to resolve issues.
  • Manage security of database systems and maintain confidentiality.
  • Suggest and implement improvements to the database systems and processes.
• Drive the AI/ML efforts for the organizations/client data sources.
• Work with business stakeholders and department managers to identify needs and produce solutions.
• Document the structure, processes, and design of all the solutions being implemented.
• Play a key role in defining standards for analytics, metrics, data related development

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in information systems, Computer Science, or similar field (equivalent professional experience)
• Technical Knowledge/Expertise
  • 3+ years of Database Development experience with Microsoft SQL Server with strong knowledge of SQL
  • Established experience working on data analytics/integration projects.
  • Knowledge of Multi-dimensional and Tabular modeling concepts
  • Familiarity with basic concepts of database administration
  • General knowledge of working with Rest APIs, coding/scripting as needed for data integration/ETL efforts beyond SQL.

  • Any experience in Data warehousing, ETL and Analysis Models with Microsoft SQL Server/Azure Analysis Services, SSIS/Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse
  • Exposure to Salesforce.com Platform, APIs, Flows, Dataloader
