Deyan Kalinov

Deyan Kalinov has over 15 years of experience in the software industry. Their most recent role was as a Senior Software Developer at Infragistics, starting in March 2023. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Software Developer at Resolute Software from July 2022 to February 2023. Deyan also held the position of Senior Member Of Technical Staff at VMware for two months in 2022.

Before their time at VMware, Deyan worked at Infragistics as a Senior Software Developer from July 2020 to May 2022. Deyan was a Senior Software Engineer at Software AG from February 2020 to July 2020. Prior to that, they spent four years at Progress as a Senior Software Engineer from March 2016 to November 2019.

Deyan's earlier experience includes working as a Senior Software Engineer at Labssoft from August 2014 to March 2016, and as a Team Manager/Senior Software Engineer at Comptel from November 2013 to August 2014. At Comptel, they were responsible for managing a team of software engineers and also worked on analyzing requirements, implementing software modules, troubleshooting problems, and providing technical consultancy.

In addition, Deyan has worked as a Senior Software Support Specialist at Comptel from November 2010 to November 2012, where they provided support to direct customers and partners of the company. Prior to that, they held the role of Senior Systems Administrator at Fuze Box from February 2010 to November 2010.

Deyan started their career as a Field Engineer at ECtel from August 2008 to February 2010. Throughout their career, they have gained extensive experience in software development, technical support, team management, and system administration.

Deyan Kalinov has a Master's Degree in Telecommunications from New Bulgarian University, which they obtained from 2003 to 2005. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor's Degree in Telecommunications from the same institution from 1999 to 2003. Their high school education was at NPMG, where they studied Mathematics and Computer Science from 1994 to 1999.

In addition to their formal education, Deyan Kalinov has obtained several certifications. In 2018, they completed the AI Programming with Python Nanodegree and the Deep Learning Nanodegree from Udacity. In 2014, they obtained certifications in "Programming Cloud Services for Android Handheld Systems," "Pattern-Oriented Software Architectures: Programming Mobile Services for Android Handheld Systems," and "Programming Mobile Applications for Android Handheld Systems" from Coursera Verified Certificates. In 2013, they completed the "An Introduction to Interactive Programming in Python" course from Coursera.
