Vasyl Balakiriev

Vasyl Balakiriev has held various roles in the technology industry since 2001. Vasyl began their career as a Software Engineer at the National Aviation University, Teaching and Research Computer Center of Institute of Computer Technol. From 2005 to 2008, they worked as a Software Developer at the Scientific Research Institute for Applied Information Technology Cyber Center of NAS of Ukraine and as a Software Engineer at Antonov Design bureau. In 2009, they became Project Manager and Lead System Architect at InZero Systems. From 2013 to 2014, they worked as Technical Lead at SoftServe. From 2014 to 2020, they held two roles at Materialise, Department Manager Manufacturing SW and Department Manager (MatSDK & Research). Currently, they are the Director Of Engineering at Infrascale, where they are responsible for providing engineering expertise and leadership throughout the organization and through all phases of the development lifecycle. Vasyl is also responsible for championing and coaching the technical team members to design, develop and test major software product components, and ensuring exceptional quality assurance standards are met through refinement and application of high-ROI QA practices such as automation.

Vasyl Balakiriev obtained a Master degree in Computer Science from National Aviation University between 2000 and 2005.
