IO’s Finance, Technology, and Lending Enterprise Team ensures that IO is a financially efficient and effectively managed organization and that the agency’s finances are monitored, reported, and managed appropriately. The team also manages the infrastructure lending program, which has supported more than $19 billion in local infrastructure development, and IO’s Information Technology and Business Services, providing tools and systems to ensure secure, effective, and efficient operations.

Reporting to the Director, Realty Finance, the Finance Operations Specialist will act as a financial systems administrator responsible for troubleshooting, configurations, system updates, new user set ups, and training new users on Yardi Real estate Management software. 

What You Will Be Doing:

  • Oversee the management, administration, security and configuration of Yardi and supporting IO’s  General Real Estate Portfolio
  • Provide technical support and training users of the system
  • Manage financial system integrations, assess risks, develop solutions and collaborate with IT and other stakeholders
  • Maintain data integrity, internal controls and audit trails throughout all applications
  • Develop and deliver training materials and documentation on Yardi’s functionality, leading practices, and updates
  • Manage financial system integrations with other relevant applications used within IO’s ecosystem, assess risks, develop solutions and collaborate with IT and other stakeholders
  • Establish and maintain data integrity standards and procedures within financial systems.
  • Create and customize reports that provide relevant financial insights, KPIs, and metrics for various stakeholders, such as management, finance teams, or regulatory bodies.
  • Optimize report generation processes extracting data efficiently, automating calculations, and ensuring data accuracy, reducing manual effort and potential errors.

Who We Are Looking For:

  • Several years of related experience managing financial systems (Yardi preferred)
  • Solid understanding of financial systems and software
  • Proficiency with MS Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Word, Outlook, Teams
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship building skills
