Ajmal Chishty has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Ajmal began their career as an intern at Standard Chartered Bank in 2004 and later worked as a Sales Coordinator at Habib Bank Limited. Ajmal then transitioned to Faysal Bank Limited, where they served as an Assistant Manager in Marketing, focusing on market intelligence, research, and coordination with external agencies.

In 2006, Ajmal joined Habib Bank Limited as an Assistant Manager in Collections, responsible for managing delinquent portfolios and leading a team. Ajmal also briefly worked as a Credit Analyst, specializing in mortgages.

Ajmal then shifted to Data Management, designing and rolling out the Qualmark Data Management framework and ensuring data quality standards. Finally, they took on the role of Senior Manager - Data Portfolio Management, collaborating with business stakeholders on data investments, monitoring data portfolios, and providing insights and recommendations.

From 2020 to 2021, Ajmal worked at Westpac Group, initially as a Senior Manager in Data Governance and later as an Executive Manager, leading data governance initiatives.

Ajmal'smost recent work experience is with ING Australia, where they currently serve as the Data Management Lead.

Ajmal Chishty earned a Bachelor's degree in Computer Sciences from the Bahria Institute of Management & Computer Sciences (BIM) from 2001 to 2003. Prior to that, they completed their O levels at The City School from 1992 to 2000. Ajmal also obtained certifications in various fields, including being a Certified Scrum Master from the Scrum Alliance in 2015 and completing training programs in Visual Basic, Six Sigma, and SAS in previous years.
