Lambrecht Wessels

Lambrecht joined ING Australia as Operational Resilience Lead and member of the Executive Committee in October 2022.

Lambrecht started with ING in 1996 as management trainee and has worked for ING Netherlands in project & change management roles in Operations, IT, Front Office, Wholesale Banking (WB) International and Non-Financial Risk management. As of 2008 - 2018, Lambrecht largely worked for ING abroad, leading the Compliance Maturity Programs for ING Belgium and ING Bank Turkey as well as heading the Non-Financial Risk functions of ING in Turkey and ING WB Asia region. In his last role before joining ING in Sydney, Lambrecht setup and headed the Transaction Monitoring Remediation function within Global KYC.

Lambrecht is an engineer in Industrial Engineering & Management (University Twente) and holds Masters degrees in Marketing (TIAS) and Finance and Control (University of Maastricht).
