Sean Canning

Sean Canning has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Their most recent position is as a Cloud Developer at INGENO, starting in January 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Back End Developer Intern at VibroSystM Inc. from May to August 2021. Sean also served as a Full Stack and DevOps Intern at Vanderlande from June to August 2020. Before pursuing their career in development, Sean worked as a Development Consultant at BI Expertise from March 2019 to March 2020. Sean also gained experience as a Machine Learning Intern at Ro-Main from May to August 2019, and as a Geomatics Technician at Parks Canada from May to August 2018. Additionally, they worked as a Laboratory Technician at Graymont in 2014 and as a Geo-environmental Technician at Tecosol Inc. in 2013.

Sean Canning obtained their Bachelor's degree in Computer Software Engineering from Université Laval from 2017 to 2021. Prior to that, they completed an Associate's degree in Natural Sciences at Cégep de Sainte-Foy from 2015 to 2016. Sean also earned an Associate's degree in Geology/Earth Science, General from Cégep de Thetford from 2011 to 2014. Additionally, Sean has obtained several certifications, including the AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in October 2022. Sean also completed various certifications through Coursera, including the AWS Fundamentals Specialization in January 2021, Getting Started with AWS Machine Learning in January 2021, Developing Applications with Google Cloud Platform Specialization in April 2019, Imagery, Automation, and Applications in July 2018, GIS Data Formats, Design and Quality in June 2018, Geospatial and Environmental Analysis in June 2018, and Fundamentals of GIS in May 2018.
