Brandon Wood has a diverse work experience. Brandon started working as a Paraprofessional and After School Music at District of Columbia Public Schools in October 2013 and continued in this position until June 2015. Simultaneously, they worked as a Behavior Technician at the same school from June 2015 to August 2017. Additionally, they served as an RTI Coordinator at the same school from September 2015 to August 2017. In 2013, Brandon also worked briefly as a Paraprofessional at Prince George's County Public Schools. In terms of their other roles, Brandon worked as an Administrative Specialist at the National Institute of Health from April 2011 to June 2013. From 2012 to 2014, they worked as an Arranger at Block Band Music and Publishing LLC. In 2013, they were a DC Teaching Fellow at TNTP. Since 2017, Brandon has been working at Ingenuity Prep, where they started as a Behavior Support Coordinator and later became the Dean of Culture in July 2019. Alongside their professional career, Brandon also created and led a brass band called A Lil Mo Brass from January 2010 onwards.
Brandon Wood completed their education at Norfolk State University from 2004 to 2010, majoring in Interdisciplinary Studies with a focus on Music Education. Prior to that, they attended Oxon Hill High School from 2000 to 2004, where they studied Music.
