Mikel Borrega

Mikel Borrega has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Mikel started their career as an Engineer in R&D at Fagor Automation S. Coop. in 2000. After two years, they moved on to work as an R&D Engineer at INGETEAM ENERGY, where they gained expertise in hardware and software design for photovoltaic inverters. Mikel later became the R&D Project Manager at Ingeteam Power Technology's Photovoltaic Department, managing the string PV inverter group and designing inverters for domestic and commercial PV installations. In 2017, Mikel joined Ingeteam S.A. as the Director of Electric Vehicle Chargers Business Unit, leading the design and production of AC and DC electric vehicle chargers. Additionally, they also worked as an Associate Professor at the Public University of Navarre from 2008 to 2010.

Mikel Borrega holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Renewable Energies from the Universidad Pública de Navarra, which they obtained from 2011 to 2014.
