Ian Forrester

Ian Forrester has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Ian currently serves as a Board Member on the Industry Research Advisory Board at Deakin University. Prior to this, they were a member of the Innovation Advisory Council at Vation Ventures. Ian has held executive positions such as CIO at Inghams Group Limited and Senior Executive Partner at Gartner. Ian also served as the Global CIO at Nuplex Industries, where they were responsible for IT across 12 countries and implemented an enterprise Cloud Strategy. Earlier in their career, Ian worked as a Managing Consultant at Inside Info and Chief Information Officer at Wesfarmers Industrial and Safety. Ian also has experience as a General Manager of IT at United Rail, and held roles at CSR and PricewaterhouseCoopers, where they implemented SAP in multiple organizations and led supply chain transformation programs.

Ian Forrester has a BCom in Economics from Rhodes University and an MCom in Information Technology from the University of the Witwatersrand. Ian also holds a certification as an ICAgile Certified Professional from ICAgile.
