Karen collaborates with the Board of Directors, President & CEO and Senior Leadership Team, and staff to ensure that Inglis operates with the highest standards of integrity and transparency. Karen guides compliance with Federal, State and regional regulatory requirements, establishes processes to monitor performance, identifies potential risks and responds to any consumer, staff or family member concerns. Karen also oversees Inglis’ Safety and Security Departments.
Karen joined Inglis in 2008 as Director of Quality Improvement and was promoted to Executive Director of Community Support Services in 2010. In this role, she directed community-based services, including the Inglis Day Program, care management and community employment programs, and the Inglis Community Advisory Committee. Karen was promoted to her current position of Vice President in 2014.
Karen came to Inglis from NHS Human Services, where she held progressively responsible positions in the administration of quality improvement and compliance programs. She began her career as a therapist, providing counseling to children and adults with a wide range of behavioral health concerns. Karen is a graduate of the University of Massachusetts at Amherst and the University of Pennsylvania.
