Garry Duursma

Garry Duursma has a wealth of experience in the fintech and payments industry. Garry began their career in 1997 at Hewlett-Packard Asia Pacific, where they held various roles, including General Manager FSI Business, General Manager Corporate Accounts Business Unit, Manager Global Accounts Program, and Manager Telecom Global Accounts. In 2004, they moved to Keycorp Pty. Limited as the GM Sales & Marketing, managing the Trusted Transaction Solutions business. In 2006, they joined Tyro Payments as Vice President Sales and Marketing. In 2013, they established Garry Duursma Consulting as a Payments Business Consultant. In 2017, they became a Fintech Investor and Consultant at Xinja. In 2018, they joined WooliesX as a Strategic Payments Consultant and ingogo as a Non-Executive Director and Chief Executive Officer. In 2021, they joined BTC Markets as an Advisory Board Member, and in 2020, they co-founded Spotpass as the Executive Chairperson.

Garry Duursma attended the University of Technology Sydney from 1984 to 1987, where they earned a B'Bus in Marketing and Computer Science, as well as a B Bus in Marketing.
