Nicholas Amaral

Nicholas Amaral has a diverse work experience in the field of learning and development. Nicholas currently works at Ingredion Incorporated as the Learning and Development Lead for Innovation and Enabling Functions. In this role, they assess learning and development needs, designs learning strategies, and manages programs for 12,000 employees globally. Prior to this, they worked as a Learning Consultant and Instructional Designer at Kiker Learning, where they developed and delivered training workshops on technology and assessment practices. Nicholas also has experience as a District Learning and Development Leader at RAMAPO INDIAN HILLS REGIONAL HIGH SCHOOL DISTRICT, where they oversaw the implementation of a comprehensive learning and training program for employees. Additionally, Nicholas worked as an Instructional Coach and Educator at Shore Regional High School, providing coaching and support to staff and teachers, and developing educational resources.

Nicholas Amaral obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Secondary Education and Teaching from Georgian Court University, where they studied from 2005 to 2009. Prior to that, they completed an Associate of Arts (A.A.) in English at Brookdale Community College from 2003 to 2005. In addition to their formal education, Nicholas has also acquired several certifications, including the Camtasia 2021 Explorer Certification and Camtasia 2021 Voyager Certification from TechSmith Corporation in February 2022, the Newsela Certified Educator certification from Newsela in February 2020, and the Google Certified Educator Level 2 certification from Google in February 2019, among others. Nicholas also holds certifications in Students with Disabilities and Teacher Certification from the NJ Department of Education, both obtained in 2010.
