Grace Hubbell, PhD, currently serves as a Staff Scientist at Trace Biosciences since November 2023. Previously, Grace held the position of Postdoctoral Scholar at Oregon Health & Science University from January to November 2023, where work focused on developing synthetic routes for nerve-specific fluorophores and targeted probes for early cancer detection under the guidance of advisors Summer Gibbs and Lei Wang. Grace completed a PhD in Organic Chemistry at Michigan State University from August 2017 to November 2022, working as a Graduate Research Assistant in the Tepe Lab, and has experience as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at Lake Superior State University and a FLAM intern at UC Santa Barbara. Grace holds dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Chemistry and Biochemistry from Lake Superior State University.
