Jim Li

Jim Li has a strong background in the biotechnology industry, with extensive experience in chemistry and leadership roles. Jim currently serves as the Sr. VP of Chemistry at Initial Therapeutics since November 2022. Prior to that, Jim worked at Hexagon Bio as the VP of Chemistry from January 2021 to November 2022. Jim also held the position of Senior Director at Calithera Biosciences from August 2010 to January 2021. Jim's career began at Roche Palo Alto, where they worked as a Research Scientist II and Project Leader from an unknown start date to August 2010.

Jim Li has a Ph.D. in Synthetic Organic Chemistry, which they obtained from both UC San Diego and Scripps Research. Jim completed their studies at these institutions from 1996 to 2001.
