Eric Woersching

Eric Woersching is the current General Partner at Initialized Capital. Prior to this, they served as Board Member at Zentail from September 2018 to December 2019, and at Truepill from July 2018 to December 2019. From January 2017 to December 2019, Eric was the General Partner at Initialized Capital, where they actively traded a $150M portfolio with risk in FX, interest rates, commodities, equity index and vol. From January 2013 to December 2016, Eric served as Portfolio Manager at Thiel Macro, where they actively traded a $150M portfolio with risk in FX, interest rates, commodities, equity index and vol. Prior to that, Eric was the Vice President of Research & Trading at Clarium Capital Management from April 2008 to December 2012, where they managed portfolios and headed the trade execution team. Before their finance career, Eric worked as a Technical Product Manager at Microsoft from July 2005 to April 2008.

Eric Woersching attended Suncoast Community High School before going on to study electrical and electronics engineering at Stanford University, where they earned their BS and MS. Eric is also a Certified Financial Analyst (CFA) from the CFA Institute.
