Becky Chanoux has a diverse work experience that spans over two decades. Becky began their career as a Summer Intern at Wyeth Biopharma (now Pfizer), where they conducted protein purification experiments and influenced the development of protocols for large-scale production. Becky then worked as a Research Assistant at Whitehead Institute, contributing to the HapMap Project by screening SNPs and optimizing screening procedures.
Becky furthered their research career at the University of Pennsylvania, first as a Graduate Student at the Abramson Family Cancer Research Institute, focusing on DNA damage and repair mechanisms in cancer. Becky then served as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, investigating the regulation of the epithelial sodium channel in Cystic Fibrosis.
Transitioning into medical writing, Becky joined Synergy Medical Education as a Medical Writer before moving on to The Navicor Group. At Navicor, they held various roles, including Medical Writer, Senior Medical Writer, and Associate Medical Director.
In 2019, Becky joined Evoke as a Medical Director, and later became a VP, Medical Director at Inizio Evoke in 2023. Becky'sexpertise in both research and medical communication makes their a valuable asset to any organization.
Becky Chanoux earned a PhD in Cancer Biology from the University of Pennsylvania from 2003 to 2009. Prior to that, they obtained a BS in Biology from Bucknell University from 1998 to 2002. Becky graduated from Lexington High School with a high school diploma in 1998.
